Jesse Itzler’s Real Salt Smoothie
This delicious smoothie comes straight from Jesse Itzler, Redmond’s honorary Chief Hydration Officer! It’s his go-to blend for a clean, energizing boost. Rich in chocolate flavor with a sweet kick from dates, this one’s a keeper.
Ingredients:

1 scoop ice

5 dashes Ceylon cinnamon

1 bag frozen banana (approx. 2 bananas)

2 large dates (use 3 if they're small)

1 ½ heaping Tbsp. cacao powder

1 Tbsp. chia seeds

Almond milk (enough to cover ingredients by 1 inch)

1/8 tsp. Real Salt

Raw walnuts, for topping (optional)

Salted Marcona almonds, for topping (optional)
Instructions:

Place ice, cinnamon, banana, dates, cacao powder, and chia seeds in a blender.

Pour in almond milk until it’s about 1 inch above the ingredients.

Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

Pour into glasses and top with raw walnuts or salted Marcona almonds.
