Chili Lime Chicken Tortilla Soup
This soup proves you don’t need all day and a complicated recipe to make a hearty, satisfying meal. With pantry staples, tender chicken, Real Salt Garlic Salt, and a punch of Real Salt Chili Lime, every spoonful offers full-bodied flavor with a fresh twist, all in one easy pot.
Ingredients:

1 lb chicken breasts

1 can (15 oz.) black beans, drained

1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
-
1 can (4 oz.) diced green chiles
-
1 medium onion, chopped
-
32 oz. bone broth
-
1 cup corn (frozen or fresh)
-
2 tsp. avocado oil
-
1 Tbsp. Redmond Real Salt Garlic Salt
-
4 tsp. Redmond Real Salt Chili Lime, divided
-
Pepper, to taste
For serving:

Tortilla chips
-
Shredded cheese
-
Sour cream
-
Cilantro
-
Avocado
Instructions:

Heat avocado oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Season both sides of the chicken with 2 tsp. Chili Lime seasoning.

Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown.

Add chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 3–4 minutes.

Stir in Garlic Salt, remaining Chili Lime seasoning, and pepper.

Add diced tomatoes, green chiles, black beans, corn, and bone broth.

Bring to a simmer and cook for about 30 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked.

Remove chicken from the pot, shred with two forks, then return it to the soup.

Serve hot and top with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, sour cream, cilantro, and avocado.

Hi Camille! Redmond Raw Cheese is available at our Redmond Farm Market Stores in Utah. I reached out to our team, and they said that they use a vegetable rennet to make the cheese. I hope that helps!
